James Cameron founded Security Concepts Group (SCG) in 2009. SCG is a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business.
Mr. Cameron formulated his Active Shooter Active Assailant programs drawing from his firsthand experiences as a contractor for the US State Department during his tenure on the Worldwide Personal Protective Services Diplomatic Protection mission. He was directly involved as a first responder in over four Mass Casualty situations, including noteworthy incidents such as the 2006 suicide bomber attack during a Baghdad press conference, the 2008 Serena Hotel incident in Kabul, Afghanistan, the 2011 Intercontinental Hotel incident in Kabul, Afghanistan, and the 2015 Police graduation event in N'Djamena, Chad.
As a Combat Veteran who's been awarded a Bronze Star and the author of two books on Active Shooter/Workplace Preparedness, he is an expert in educating individuals for emergency situations.
